A Work in Progress

So, I started feeling pressure from this seedling idea for a cookbook and the unknown expectations that come with it being verbalized. How long would this production realistically take? A minimum of three trials for recipe testing??! After consulting Will Write for Food and being hit with the insight that some writers take 4-10 years to complete a cookbook, my teeth grinding and restlessness started up again.

Born was the not-so-unique plan to kick off a collaborative blog to remove some of the self-inflicted pressure, to share our progress and maybe get feedback/advice/encouragement/words of wisdom.

This is an informal presentation of our work-in-progress, hopefully culminating in a printed version of these family recipes.
